Twin Tips?

What's the best pair of twin tips that are in a reasonable price range? I'm not a huge person so they would have to be kinda small.

There's lots. 1080 in 161 cm(damn small) scratch in 164 I think, small armada ar5, pocket rocket in 165, or if all of those are too big, try next year's 1080 in 151.

I'm on like 152's...and I'm about 5'2....not gunna say my weight, but it's less than 100lbs. haha. I still don't know how big of skis that I'd need.

hey im 5'2 and 95 lbs and i have 160 and they fit perfect so you should go in that range and ya 1080's, maverics, or **armada, all come in 160's and are sick!!

Oh, btw...how do twins ride in powder? I usually end up in powder or the terrain park and they need to function well in both.

Depends on the twin. You might really like a pocket rocket if you're looking for a powder/park ski. I don't know of any other fat twins(you want fat if you ride pow, it probably won't hurt your park riding, maybe pipe A LITTLE, MAYBE)that come in under 170..but I'm sure soemone will surprise me.

uh, most do well usually in powder, especially the fatter they are, like maybe the 1080, pocket rocket, scratch bc, etc, but most are fat enough to do well in powder

for powder and park, at your size, k2 public enemies in 159 would probably be a good bet (i haven't actually ridden them though, so take that for what its worth.)

Except, I went to a ski store around here, and the guy said not to get any ski bigger than a 155 if I'm going to be in the park. Do they make those in 150s?

that guy is a dumbass if he says you shouldn't go over that high, that's very short. Longer skis are much better for landing and easier to control going switch and easier to go fast in. He was probably a skiboarder.

longer skis are really hard to learn with tho. It took my a LONG time to start progression with my scratch BC 188s. Plus, i hate to say this, but women on average prefer a shorter ski.

don't listen to phrosty. and don't even think about getting snowblades. you definitley want something in the 150-160 range. a 153 would probably be perfect. my sister is your size, she rides LINE 1260's in a 153.

haha I'm 5'2' 98 lbs, I'm not sure about ski level, but I've passed every class they give on my mountain as far as basic skiing (aka downhill) goes, but I'm just getting into jumps. So I guess w/o jumps, advanced. In the park, beginner. As far as aggression...I'm really not sure. I ski double blacks and stuff, if that helps. So I'd want an all mountain ski that also helps with jumps in the terrain park.

Damn, u can fit almost 2 of you in me...
i would say, the concept 153 would be a decent ski, the trouble maker in 155 is another option and the v-expression isnt a bad choice. Line is crappy at all mtn in comparison, and the 1080 has severe durability issues. Also, with the new trouble maker comin in, stores are gonna wanna get rid of the concepts.

I just bought some cheap skis last night for the rest of this season and maybe the beginning of next. Once I get a job though, I'll be able to pay for some really nice skis.
