no it wont, why would it soccer in the usa is not as glamourous as bsaeball basketball or football and it doesnt pay as well either so all or greatest atletes are always going to lean torword those sports, plus soccer sucks so fuck the rest of the world
Let's look at youth sports shall we? Hmm, taht's why from 1987-2002 youth soccer participation increased 15%. From 2002-2006 it has also increased, but I am not sure of the percentage. The MLS has also expanded. It doesn't pay well...YET. That's what happens when something isn't very popular YET dumbass. Let's take a look at sponsors. Adidas, Pepsi, Nike, and various other medium-large size sponsors. Oh yeah, you're an ignorant dumbass.
Oh yeah and for the US national team, Budweiser is a main sponsor, Home depot, Gatorade, Hyuandai, Panasonic, Pepsi, and Nike. EA sports and other various smaller sponsors.
Given how much youth soccer has grown, I think we will have a really good national team in a few years.
I went with my club team over to Italy to play in a tournament and we were just as good as the European teams. We played teams from Italy, Spain, and Holland.
True man, we just need a few fresh spark plugs to revamp and make a real national team, and its game on.
And if we can have good US players getting better money playing for european clubs...that helps too.
This definately wasnt the year, but the day will come.
