the chronic blend is wider and has different tip/tail dimensions

The chronic blend has all the same dimensions as a prohet90. It has the same tip and tail profile, which is different from the chronic line. There is no full length ollie band. Pretty much the only difference between the prohet90 and the blend is the added material in the core. Prophet=metal Blend=carbon. This means the blend would be a touch lighter and some what softer. In return the blend would perform better in the park then a prophet.

so do u think that the chronic would be better in park than the chronic blend?

the blend is TIGHT!! its not jsut like the prophet 90, but similar. the blend has carbon whereas the prophet has titanium. the big difference you ask? the weight, the blend is geared more toward park where the proph is more all-mountain. they seem like too much of a ski for just park at first but are super fun and light. sick all mountain ski plus a good park one too.

it might not be as agile and quick to edge just b/c of the width but it would deffinity be stable in the pipe

softer skis are better for buttering.... stiff skis are harder and hurt more when buttering.... so i would say no, they are not the best skis for buttering. Invaders and anthems are better for butters

but lets be honest, buttering is way over rated! if i could chose from lifting my tails slighttly whilst i basically revert, or having a ski that can actually hold an edge i know what id chose

thats not nessisarily true...depending on how big of a guy you are and how much leg strenght u have...+ how much the ski is worked in....you can flex the chronics just fine...i dont have a problem flexing them around....just not as easy as say the anthem or invader like u said.
