So I'm probably getting some bacons for next season, and I was thinking since they are a BC ski, that I might put Alpine Touring bindings on them and getting some skins to trek around with and find some sick spots, so I'm just asking....if it were you, would you go ahead and get the AT bindings, or just mount them with regular Downhill bindings?
hes saying get regular bindings, then get alpine trekkers. they click into your binding and are just like AT, but you can take them out and have the virtue of using just regular dh bindings.
but
if you get any look or rossi binding, you cant use them.
but
really consider if you need at.
Im going to get an AT setup next year. Look has a partnership with, um, i forget which company, so know theyll have AT as well.
Yeah, I'm gonna use some P12's probaly, not the new ones though, I want that heel pivot, so that won't work if Look binders can't use them, I prolly don't NEED AT bindings, but it's be nice to have them if I ever did and BC hiking, but tell me more about this partnership deal, I know very little about AT stuff, a ski patrol friend of mine has some, and he loves them, but do you also have to get special boots, cause he has some different AT boots too.
