which of the axial bindings would be best for me. i ride probably 40% park 60% rest of the mountain. i like the 120 wide brake but is there a better axial model for me?
what exactly are you asking? it depends on your weight, therefore different dins, not what you ski. wide brakes depend on the width of the ski. p10, p12, px12 all should be good.
if you dont have a wide ski, no need to get wide brakes, but if you do, then right on.
but the actual din depends on weight and ability. axial 120s/px12s should almost certainlly suffice, so go for it. If youre heavier, then perhaps an axial 140/px14 would be better suited.
Brakes on Axial2 can easily be swapped/removed for bending. I didn't even have to take them off to bend them to about 90mm. If you are buying Axial/Pivots, the brakes are harder to bend alot, and very difficult to remove. If you have line skis, make sure to get PX or Axial2. Then as a guideline, you want your DIN setting to be in the middle of the range, preferably a little on the low side.
