Over here on the eastern side of PA every new owner has meant improvements to stagnant hill. Bear Creek is the best example, in 2 short years they created a hill that every other mountain is watching, nervously.. Even old school camelback looks like it is progressing

Bear Creek is a prime example of what east coast ski resorts need to do. They make money year round with different events that they have. THe more money they make all throughout the year, the more they can put into the winter activities... which is what they have been doing.

they said they will put another 6 pack in(on the north face) if they get the slot machines

my mountain is putting in a new 6pack too... thats the last thing to help crouding on a mountain, especially if there is no expansion. its just going to make the slopes much more crouded because of the increased uphill capacity

there is no need for slot machines...if you want to gamble, go to vegas. We dont need the extra crowd

The old owners were already starting to improve the park so hopefully the new owners keep up.

7 Springs needs to forget about slots and all that other shit, and remember what they are a... a ski resort.

"The proposed $5.4 million casino will create approximately 350 new jobs for local
citizens and generate millions in property tax relief for Pennsylvania
homeowners. The 26,900 square-foot gaming facility will be adjacent to
Conference Center wing of the Main Lodge complex for convenient access by
drive-in and overnight guests. Initial designs reveal an octagon-shaped building
with a rustic architectural style utilizing native stone, exposed timbers and glass
that will complement the resort’s existing facilities and landscapes. Approximately
15,000 square feet will be designated for the new casino, which will feature 500
slot machines. Of this, 1,900 square feet will be utilized for a dining and seating
area. There will also be a bar and lounge area in the center of the gaming floor."

Hello!!!
Seven Springs has been doing this for alot longer than Bear Creek even. They make mad money on the mother fucking polka festivals! You know that big, huge, like 50,000 sq ft building below Alpine? The Convention Center??? Its booked all through the off season with trade shows, partys, other coprporate shit. Then the golf course, bowling alley, swiming pool, hot tubs, tenis camps, trail rides, game room etc etc.
Oh yeah, those Condos up on the NF and Wagner have been in development for over 10 years. They've been selling them off the blueprints and architectual drawing for about 3 years, Half a million to 750 a piece! Haven't they started building that shit yet?
Seven Springs is a ski resort, but thats just a small tip of the iceberg

^ Very true, since they already have the best mountain in the area, they see no reason to upgrade the hill because no one is close to being as good as them, so they just upgrade the lodge and other stuff to make more money. Snowshoe is better but is like 5 hours away in the middle of nowhere and Holiday valley is like 4 hours away also.
All times are Eastern (-5)
