What is the best 3 CCD, or HD cam? Is the canon GL2 one of the best?

depends on what your using it for
most people are going to say the sony vx serious and the gl2s

well there are lots and lots more 3ccd cams that are way more expensive. Make sure you do research before buying one. For example the vx1000 does not do well in cold, so it would be a bad example for filming skiing. Personally, im saving up for a vx2000.
