you have to zoom in to get rid of the vinniette (i think thats what you refer to as "the bubble frame") any ways you can zoom your camera in enough to get rid of it with out compromising the focus.
whats a uv lens?
if you are talking about a UV filter, then there is no distortion, because it has no curved glass elements. Wide angle lenses built for video cameras have distortion because they are cheaply made. wide lenses without distortion are usually $1,500+ and made for 35mm still film cameras and movie cameras such as super16mm, 35mm.
