We sponsored/ran a festival in Toronto on the 29th. We plan to run a couple competitions this year, but we haven't solidified anything specific yet. We would like to be more involved in the sponsoring/running of events, but we have no money! :)

Doesnt NS sort of sponsor all the guys on their team? They dont pay them but the represent ns and stuff.

ns.com should definately sponsor a comp at mount snow...I am pretty sure there are alot of newschoolers.com users that go to those comps... and usually they get alot of people to come up, It prolly costs a fair amount to be a sponsor but it would be cool...

Neil S (from sasfilms.com) was saying something in the spring about orginizing a slopestyle competition at Mount Snow in March......not sure if he's still thinking about that, but it'd be cool if he did it.

yah dude.....the whole point of sponsoring a comp it to create more awareness of this great site.....so if it was members only then it doesn't work at all.

I'm telling you... WATERVILLE. it's a sick mountain. having skied there and all around new england, it is probably my fav mountain with the best park. we should get something there. I know awhile ago a few of my friends who run the freestyle part of waterville we trying to get a ski for 24 hours party in the park.

how bout we do it at our own hill, edelweiss, because we have a lot of good local skiers, chrichton, hibbert, garret britain and others (well living in ottawa) among other good non sponsored people...it would be an awesome event if all those people were to come, and they could invite some of their friends from down south and stuff..it would be a sick comp
