yes. im pretty sure the standards for biking helmets are higher than snow impacts. so yes, it should be fine. if i rember correctly, the flight is like a skate style lid right? either way, anything on your head is better than nothin, so if thats what you got and your on a budget, go for it

Dude dont ride in a mtb helmet for skiing, ur neck will kill you by the end of the day. its too heavy

Not all dh helmets are that heavy. Take the Giro Remedy which is fairly light but if you drop a little more scrilla you can purchase the carbon fiber version which is light and will protect your noggin quite well actually. POC also makes some dece fullfaces if I remember correctly which are pretty well constructed.
