I want to get a pair but I herd their's really no tail on them. Does anyone mount up from the recomended spot if so how far up?

well, i don't know, but I do know that Nick Mercon did a cork 1260 in the pipe and landed it, not sure if it was on normal enemies or Public Enemys. yeah i know he's a pro, just thought that i would mention that.

PEs, Troublemakers, and the secret Salomon pipe 1080s are pretty much the best pipe skis. Never riden the Salomon protos, but obviously you saw the results. The other two have the sickest poping abilities in their springy cores and tails. You will boost more. Ask anyone riding them. The PE is cheaper and better looking:) In a slushy superpipe, I am a little partial to Seth Pistols, but that is my opinion.

there is definately tail on this ski. I only mounted mine 1.5 cm forward of the main line and I'm happy with my decision. If you ski mostly park go for 2-3cm forward or more. All I can say is that you won't be disappointed if you get PE's.

in my opinion...the seth pistols are the dopest pipe skis. i have so much fun riding those in the pipe, and the park...
