Pressure Cracks

im assuming your talking about stress fractures in skis. They are small cracks in the ski caused by too much pressure/flex at a weak flex point. The weakest flex point is right behind the heelpiece of the binding. Basically the cracks are in 2 or 3 of say 5 or 6 layers that make up the ski. Basically, its broke.

The other thing that you may be talking about are similar to the cracks in the topsheets that some skis get. The topsheet material may not be designed to flex like the ski does, so the topsheet cracks a little. This is no big deal.

theyre like little cracks on the topsheet of the ski, doesnt really effect the performance of the ski, unless u got a whole lotta them.

i took a pair of Omeglasses in the park and first jump they got a crack in the Tip
