Need some medical advice quickly

long story short: my brother was just carried home by some of his friends, he fell on his head pretty hard and more than likely has a concussion, and a pretty bad one at that. so far i have him layed out in the basement and im gona let him sleep, but im going to wake him up every hour like you would with any concussion, BUT he's drunk off his ass, so are there any extra precautions i should be taking?

be sure to lay him on his side, so if he vomits it will drain out. also check his pupils regularily... and he need a doctor.

How fucking stupid are you? Hmmm, lets leave the kid and go on ns to see what to do! DUMB! Go to a damn doctor or if it's super bad like you say it is, there are places called hospitals, usually open late, they got some people there in white coats that like to deal with such situations.

yeah he needs to be on his side and 1 hr is way to long.. if ur going to let hime sleep give him like 20 min and check him and make sure he;s aware of his surroudings.. and ureally should get him to a hospital. no matter how drunk he is..

he seems to have calmed down alot since before. he was freaking out before i guess from the initial shock of the injury and not knowing what was wrong (his friends thought he broke his neck and that probably freaked him out abit)
i just woke him up and he was calm and aware of his surroundings so i dont think its as serious as i thought. unless it gets worse ill probably wait till the morning to take him to the docs

yeah even if he is ok id still take him
me and my friends were ridin bikes and he fell broke his collor bone and hit his head mad hard. 4 hours later he threw up spagetti on my cape house rug from having a minor concussion. man to be honest take him now. even if he is piss drunk. the head is very dangerous if not taken care of

last time i had a concussion i went to sleep and the morning later it as if it never happen but then someone told me that sleeping when you have a concussion can be dangerous if your alone but when there people its okay but you need to sleep on your side so if you vomit you wont drown in it

then keep him awake to see if his condition is deterioating
NEVER TURN HIM OVER! a concussion is usually linked with neck trauma. If he has to puke, turn him over and make sure that the neck does not move.

he was fine, just a mild concussion and some sort of muscle pull in his shoulder, he was so out of it because he had drank 12 beers
