Replying to Anybody ever cut thumb holes in their hoodies?

Yeah, it is a dumb question, but I don't want to really fuck up a good hoodie.

Do any of you guys do this?

If so, where do you cut the thumb holes? On the cuff or right above it?

Does the hole end up getting torn more and more as you wear it?

I know it is dumb, but it would be good to know before I potentially mess up a good sweatshirt.
