does anyone else get this pain in their upper-mid back from jumping on a trampoline? it always happens to me me and it really sucks. does anyone know how to remedy this?
yea i get it to.....i'm pretty sure it's from under developed muscles in the back....you could probably do some exercises to help strengthen them but i don't know any and also stretch them out too
you need to bench, deadlift and squat hard. and it will go away, the only good back exercise i know is where you lay on your stomach and arch your head towards the ceiling (chin up) and that never did anything for it...
lower back = lean forward with only your upper body and look up
upper back = clasp your hands together in front of you and push your arms forward so that your shoulders are starting to go toward each other. When you feel the stretch, hold the position.
i get it really bad on gymnist trampolines...what you gotta do is either bounce 1 time a week or bounce for liek 10 minutes a day....but for a regular trampoline you can bounce alot more. i ust bounce a little on gymnist one each day to strengthen back.
The best lower back exercise(this is also a great hamstring stretch) is called the russian deadlift, we used to do it during track season while we still trained for football.
Get yourself a barbell and probably 25s on each side(the weight isn't as important as this is a stretch), get a box or something solid to stand on, like 6 inches off the ground, and just slowly, straight backed and straight legged, touch your toes with the weight in your hand, then go back up. The longer you take/hold it, the better.
everyne go to the CHIROPRACTOR, he'll fix your back bones right up and you'll feel good and you'll be healthyer for it too, i want someone to set up 2 tramps with nets next to each other, and gap over one net and into the next tramp with a misty 5 that would be dank
I can jump on tramps really anymore because it hurts so bad, sometimes it gets so bad i cant breath and it will hurt for a week just from jumping for like 10 minutes.
But my back is really bad, my vetebret sp. are shaped like triangles not squares, some are miss alighned and i have an extra one yeah it kinda sucks...
Don't do that....for several reasons. Firstly, it's not a serious injury dude, just take it easy and try not to over do it. Secondly, even among the medical field, chiropractors are known to cause more problems than they fix....they may temporarily fix your back, but it will be at the expense of some other region in your back; meaning you will have to go back to get that shit fixed again
I use to do trampolining as a sport.Use to compete at a national level and shit. kinda wish i hadnt stoped i gues coz it made me do all sorts of strength and fitness exercises lol. but i never had back problems except for one time when i did a front sumersault and was suposed to land on my stomach but i overturned a bit and landed a bit far on my cheat and face and my bak arched backwards super far and felt like i almost broke it. i think you just got to bounce and get used to it.
Alright, i used to go to trampoline camps, for training for skiing and such. Anyway what you have is called tramp back. It is most commonly caused by your bouncing technique. Your proboblly not bouncing "correctly". Anyway just try to bounce with you spine strait, and get ALL YOUR ENERGY out of your toes. No knees.
Theres a place outside Vancouver "club Aviva" and they have two tramps set up with a 6 foot gap and then a wall, so you jump off a sawhorse, onto the first, gap to the second, stall on the wall, bounce, gap to the back, off into a foam pit. It's easy to misty 5 the gap.
My back has been hurting for months because of this. My physio said it's your back muscles cramping up and basically making a splint to protect your spine. Gotta stretch a lot (glutes, back, neck, and those side muscles) and then work on core muscles on all sides. I'm usually too lazy though.
bounce until it hurts, get off, try again the next day. i had this same thing so badly at first but after a week of summer it was gone. your body just isn't used to it.
i also get sore shoulders from getting double bounced a lot, summertime i can never lift my arms above my head
I had major problems on the trampoline with my lower back. Went to a physio and turned out it wasn't my back at all, and that it was in fact my glutes that were under developed.
Because of this my back was taking more strain than it was meant to as it was over-compensating for my glutes. This caused my lower back to seize up and causing a lot of pain. Apparently a lot of people suffer from this muscle imbalance as no one really works those muscles much. This is also where a lot of the lower body strength comes from.
Did some exercises in the gym for my glutes and its now a lot better with no pain when i go trampolining anymore.
