u should probly be able to get in with a 3.0, and seasons r usually around 5 hundo for college students but u should check the websites to see for sure.
If you join the UFS, PC passes are $350. Snowbird is about $380 for chairs/$530 tram...I think Brighton and Alta are around $450 before a certain date.
well.... i got rejected from there with a 3.0 average and i come from a very good high school. (all girls catholic school) however, i did get into many schools much better than the u of u . i think it might have to do with the fact that im catholic though... good luck.
considering the fact the u of u is where all the non mormons go to college i dont think that was the case in your situation. 3.0 is boarder line gpa to get into the u of u , if u have a high act score to compensate for it then they might take a 3.0
and how would you know this ? unless hes done A TON...and scored extremely high on his ACTs/SATs... idk. i played numerous sports and did numerous clubs. take it from someone who got the rejection letter from them and got into all my other schools that are much better schools.
because my cousin goes there, he applied with actually a bit lower than a 3.0 average, played one varsity sport, was in 1 club, had a decent essay and got in. maybe they just didnt like you
fuck you. im actually going to a school alot better than u of u anyways now. i also applied right into the nursing school, that might have been the reason as well.
yea, u of u has a very very good medical program. sucks u didnt get in, i have a 3.0 accum and i didnt even bother applying, plus who wants to go to school for a full year anyways
Oh, sorry, I didn't fully comprehend your post when you posted... Yea, I agree with you, that's probably the reason. I just pretty much resaid what you did....
what about like grade inflations, cuz i have a 92 gpa but my school like givees more points for honors so its like an 88, do colleges see that and not accept kids for that
They're all relatively on the same level. Colorado may be a bit above, same with Castleton, but I don't know. Rhode Island is below. I don't know about Dartmouth, but I thought it wasn't very good for some reason.
castleton is deffinetly below, i know that and uri is about equal to utah. and colorado is the hardest out of all of them. umass is a little below for average SAT's then utah
all those colleges are better than eachother in certain areas , for instant u of u's medical program is top of nation and im sure colorado has better such and such than u of u, and etc
well if you applied right into nursing school, they'd want you to take rigorous bio and chem courses, so if you just took regular bio and chem they probably wouldnt want you. if you took AP bio and Ap chem but didn't do as well in math or engish it might not have necessarily mattered
As a pre-declared Economics major with a Pre Law focus, I was admitted (for Fall 2006) with a 3.5 GPA and 31 ACT score, for whatever that's worth. No community service, no extra curriculars, pretty much nothing, actually. I went to school and did just alright in honors and AP classes (making that a heavily, heavily weight 3.5) and did decently on the act's... so i dont think the U of U focuses too heavily on the extra curriculars
I don't mean this as an insult or anything, but you must dumb as fuck. You couldn't get into U of U, you can in there with like a 280 on your SAT's and completion of 8th grade. Why would you want to go to some mormon infested, shitty ass state anyway?
I got conditionally accepted with a 22 on act (which sucks i re-took and i think i got better) and a 2.98 gpa, no clubs essays or anything other bullshit.
UMass Dartmouth? who the fuck applies to UMass Dartmouth? that school is like one step above a community college. as for the U of Utah, the average mormon IQ is like 30 points below anyone elses. so, they dont really let anyone else in for the fear of intermarriage and the possiblity of babies with IQs that are too high for utah.
