im at high north right now and the glacier has been socked in with fog for the past 4 days. so if you wanted top come this year and you didnt, dont be upset.
im at camp of champs right now and the weather was shitty. However, if you looked at the forecast, you would know that the next days through wednsday are gonna be sunny with light cluods, it is gonna be sick, almost as sick as coc park right now.
ohh man you need to read the fine print. if you wanted the weather adjusted to your liking it was $1500 + your soul. its a weather dependant sport, get over it.
This year is a little off. Usually its blue bird june-august up there. We had sun and rain today.. just wish it would warm up for beaching it too. That and the fact Im just comming back from an acl tear and my coach wont let me get back to training in the fog up there. Suckssss.
true the weather isnt so great but you cant let that dictate your amount of fun. im having an absolute great time, theres still plenty of stuff to ski, with the bad weather HN opened up the huge hip today and it was so much fun.
Sorry, your $1500 camp package didn't include "bluebird days". Those only come with the add-on "sunshine option", at the low low additional cost of $3845 plus GST.
yeah for sure...last year we woke up with either fog or rain. we prayed for inversion every morning but when the sun popped up it was just that much sweeter
Skiing is still free for me atm because of my seasons pass that was free anyways because of my athletes card. Harhar. So I can pick and chose what days to go up... but I have to admit it would kinda suck to travel across the country and pay 3G$ to come here and have it drizzle the entire time. Oh well. Go DH biking, or paintballing... there's a decent skate park too and some alright night life, depending on what night you go out.
