it sounds good but it has been proven time and time again that it doesn't work because of humans need for power.... so i would say i am against it. Most communists nations fall apart or are not very wealthy even though the whole point it to benift the state

In theory, communism should work given the assumptions that everyone works hard and well together. so really the only thing that screws it up is people themsleves.

NO! you see, communism fell because of dictator ship, dictator ship and communism are 2 separate things. Take this, and tell me if you think this would be a good society- Every body is born with an equal chance, everyone has enough rations, equal too, so none will starve. everyone makes a sum of money close to the same, thus causeing all sorts of problems to hence, its perfect. its equal. Dictatership doesnt have to be part of communism, it just always ends up that way.

the us was threatened by communism, because the rich ppl, who were, and are in power, don't like the idea of being equal to a hard working man, that makes 1/10 the wage

Me again- You could say the rich suburbs are a portrayal of communism in action, ok, so they dont all eat the same, make the same, but everyone is living a comfortable lifestyle, with an adequate sum of money to survive off of, rations, they can do as they please, when they please. You drive down some streets, right next to the mansion, is a beeten up shack, you drive down others, and everything is a nicke 2 story brick home... the 2nd example is a communist society ;)

Communism is fucking garbage. Now don't get me wrong I'm all for socialism but your basically supporting facism. Communism requires a dictator and I can only think of one good dictators in the history of dictators- Fidel Castro. The chances of having a competent fair dictator are slim and Castro still has his flaws. The main problem with communism is that it just doesn't work. See as much as the market system is bastard it's genius. You don't have to worrry about bread or toothpaste being at the super market, its just there. The supply and demand part of the market system is so underrated and efficent, central planning just doesn't work and is a terrible waiste of resources. Communism doesn't work,if you want to be a leftest thats nice but think it through, communists are ignorant. Socialism is what you kids should be reading about

C_lo. your an idioot,. the idea, not talking about past experiences. if you could find a perfect dictator, then communism works. your argument is basically that past experiences went bad. but the whole idea around it still makes the perfect society. so i ask you to slap your self.

i don't think communism would work even if people weren't greedy. what kind of motivation would a doctor or lawyer or engineer or whatever have if they knew they were going to receive the same paycheque as someone who flips burgers? nothing is equal in the world, but there is BALANCE which brings about equilibrium.

1) You can not force people to be benevolent.
