You guys seriously must have slept through civics class or whatever. It's a representative democracy. That means you elect your leaders to make decisions for you. A direct democracy is incapable of being efficient and practical. Bush isn't a dictator sorry to spoil that for some of you who slept through civics. Seriously like people said, hope (or pray if you're into that sort of thing not like it'll do much good) that the troops and iraqi civilians fair well.

There was an anti-war protest today in Vancouver which, while wondering around downtown, I was lucky enough to bump into. Great photo oportuity (sp?), perfect infact because people expect you to be snaping pictures. But man, what a joke.

there was one in sanfransisco, 1000 ppl arested and counting, and all of u people against the war and violence have commited more violence than the war has itself

^yeah. Look at organizations like PETA and the Pro-Lifer (not to distract the original topic to these controversial issues but...) both have several extremists in their groups and use extreme measures like pipe bombing buildings to try to sway the oppinion of others. doesn't work that way
