Patellar Tendonitis

ya i went to the doctor cause my knees are really fucked up and he said i got pattelar tendonitis or "jumpers knee" and i have to wear the like brace things.

anyone else have this?

my kneez are fucked but i cant figure out what it is. its like pain where that tendon/muscle thing connects to your shin. its not osgood. i thought it might be tendonitis

Yo, i got this in both knees, it sucks so bad because it makes every little jump or bump hurt when you ski. i actually wrapped my knees up with ace bandages and that helps because it reduces the movement of the knee cap. Strengthen your quads too and that will keep the knee cap in line!

ohhhhhhhhhhhh my i feel for you i had the shittiest case of jumpers knee ie patellar tendonitis during the end of my ballin career. ice as much as possible and get your ass into glucosamine. since i stopped basketball it's calmed down about 300%, skiing everyday doesn't seem to bother me, but i still do the rehab routine i was doing last year just about everyday. see a physio, he'll hook you up

yah i went to the doctors for a check up on my back and i just mentioned to him that my knee was bugging me. Apparently i've sprained it multiple times and never let it fully heal so i have tendinitis and he recommended i wear some sort of brace. Im just wearing one of those snug elastic ones. I can definitely feel the difference at the end of the day. My knees really hurt if i forget to wear it.

I have a fucked right knee. Years of abuse on this thing from skating, skiing, and boarding have done no good. Its gotten to the point where I am just fuck it. I've gone to doctor, done the whole physio thing. I just keep screw my knee up. Oh well just going to hate myself when I'm older.

shit you just gave me a rude awakening, i hurt my mcl no longer than a month ago.... i just ski with a brace and it doesn't hurt.

i've learned 5's and i was throwing 1's over 40' jumps and shit and then it got really powdery and i kept casing everything and now my knee is aching..

i think i may have gotten it too :(

yep both knees right now idk how long it will take to go away. i've been doing quad and hammy stretches and need icing but i hope it goes away so i can go back out and try some new trix
