This Kerry guy is certainly interesting... I'd like to see who the Green Party puts up, though. And given the chance, I would definitely vote for John McCain, though I'm a Democrat, I'm highly impressed with him personally.

SOME OF YOU DON'T SEEM TO GET IT. VOTING GREEN ONLY HELPS THE REPUBLICANS IN A STATE ON THE BORDER BETEWEEN REPUBLICAN AND DEMOCRAT. MOST STATES ARNT LIKE THIS. I THINK IT WAS LIKE IF THE GREEN PARTY GOT LIKE 6% OF THE TOTAL LAST TIME THAN THEY WOULD GET FEDERAL FUNDING OF SOMETHING LIKE THAT. I don't think they really care right now if they get re-elected because in the face of overwhelming lack of support tony blair is supporting the U.S. because i think he believes this is the right thing to do. Blair comes from the very liberal side of British government and was initionally a Clinton supporter. His own party might not even support him. So he places doing the right thing over the possibility of getting re-elected again.

I just recently attended the Democratic National Committeee metting in DC. all the candidates spoke. twas pretty interesting. all I can say is they all are better than bush, and I'm a vermonter and know the Deans so I'm probably voting for him it he gets it.

andyright coast, ppl do vote on there opinions on big news events. around 70% of canadians voted that they dont want a war, and like 60% of americans said they dont support a war. So before u try and act like a smart ass, be sure ure actually smart, and not just an ass

Yeah, I am actually smart. And you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Those are biased opinion polls, not VOTING, by saying voting you are making the assumption that their 'vote' that they cast directly effects the government. The opinion polls you are referring to are conducted by biased news and political orginazations. Once again, you DONT know what the fuck you're talking about.

it actually does, not directly but it does affect the govt. The us is a representative democracy, which means we elect ppl to represent us, so that they would make the decisions we make. If ppl don't want a war in iraq (not the same as the washington post poll), then they will elect new representatives, which will change the govt. BTW, man i got nothin against ya

ya agree with him or not Bush does have a fair amount of support here, more than those who dont support him

And as for your vote not counting, I think youd have to be retarded not to realize that your vote can count from what happened in FL. If like 500 more dem's had 'thought their vote counted' then we might see a different president right now..

Andy's not right . . . I guess most of you don't remember a short 11 years ago after Bush the first won the first Gulf War and had approval ratings way higher than the current president (90+%). The economy continued into the tank and he lost a year later to young upstart Bill Clinton. Could we see a repeat with the way the economy is now? stay tuned

I wish more people could understand the good things that Bush is doing and how this will free the Iraqi people from a merciless dictator who is compared to that of Hitler.

They (Iraqis) are living in fear and terror everday and can only dream of having the freedoms that we have.

Those freedoms that we enjoy are under attack right now and Bush is stepping up and doing this because it is right. What is right is not always popular.

Unless some unexpected turn comes, then I believe Bush has a good chance of being re-elected.

bush will probably get re-elected if he can get the economy back up in time for the election, or if he can get Americans distraced enough by a war or some other kind of conflict. Otherwise, hes going to end up like his father.

maybe bush should have waited a year to invade iraq, it looks like it will almost be over now, and soon ppl will forget it, and resume there thoughts on the miserable economy, and how many treaties bush has backed down from. and also have a look at the allready screwed up school system, which war has stolen funds from.
