My math teacher just showed us a movie on him and for some reason he didn't impress me at all. I know he's a genius but it doesn't seem like he did that much.

Yeah, the only significant fact I remember about him is that he currently holds the same position as Isaac Newton once did. Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at Cambridge University.
