College costs

Usually in those college books you can get ideas on the cost though it wont factor in books, food, and stuff like that. I know right now a few guys I work with are sending their kids to some the top private schools and are paying 45K a year or so...I graduated in 2002 and my whole education at a state school cost less than that.

Usually if you go to there website itll have an aprox. price.

Look for "prospective students" or something like that, it should be on the website. For comparison

George Washington U. is the most expensive school I know of, I think it was $50,000 last year (you are paying for that expensive DC real estate)

Private schools usually range from about $30,000 to $45,000 depending on location, prestigiousness (is that a word?), etc.

State universities for out of state students seem to be $30,000 and less a year.

In state, State universities are usually less than $10,000 a year.

That's just my experience though; correct me if I am incorrect.
