Marcus Miller is one of the few that I can think of that's up to Wooten's level (that plays a similar style).

mmw is better than any other band on the jam scene. only mmw can hold it down at jazz festivals.

mmw is very different from bela fleck, I'm not sure why you'd even bring it up in this thread.

not saying mmw isn't amazing, because they are; and I thoroughly enjoy them.

Yaaaa In montreal! Victor Wooten's strap broke during his solo but you can't even tell, cause he played it off sooo well until the tech came and replaced it, as he continued his solo. SUUCH a fuckin good concert, second best dave show I've seen.
