ok i recently got a free airline ticket because i gave up my seat and took a later flight. my plan is to use it to go on a ski vaca next season. now the ticket is good for anywhere in the continental US unfortunately that rules out canada. a little something else of interest the closest to an actual montain i have skied is killington, gotta love michigan. so where should i go and why?
That leaves a lot open considering almost anywhere you go will seem super sweet now. I'd suggest SLC myself, they seem to consistently get good snow. I'd say Jackson over that, but the tram is down next year so it won't be quite as good. Also maybe check out going to Kirkwood or possibly Squaw Valley.
fuck tahoe. the lower elevation can fuck you over when you're long term planning a trip. go to SLC. it still gives you plenty of options as to where to ride once you get there, most within 45 mins
Salt Lake City.... amazing snow in the Wasatch, vs. tahoes Sierra Cement. And you can go to PC for park, Brighton for everything, Snowbird for badass stuff (tram) and Alta for more goodness...... or Solitude.
