This is a question to who ever has a Canon Dc100. How do you edit the videos? I am having major troubles.

It's DVD Video Camera. It's One of the ones that record on to Mini DVD (8cm).

does it have a firewire on it? if so id guess you edit shit the same way with miniDV with the whole capturing deal.

if not it should have a usb cable with a slot that looks like this (right):

you could plug that in to your computer and it will recognize a mass storage device and you could copy/paste the clips from the dvd that way. im not suer how those cameras work but this is just what i think and its worth a try

No it doesn't have a firewire cable. You have to put the DVD in. I NEED SOMEBODY WHO HAS A DC100!!!

dvd into your computer? all cd drives have slots for 8mm disks. if you have a cd/dvd drive then just stick it in there. if you dont well i guess your going to need one

put the dvd in, open the folder for your dvd drive, drag and drop the video file to somewhere on your hard drive (such as "my videos") and then open editing software, locate file on hard drive, and have fun.
