get x 16's they are almost the exact same thing as the x 18's but from last year so you can get them for about 449 fo a set of 3 iron to pitching wedge
yo what ever you do buy them used. thats your best bet, just look around ebay and stuff. any brand name club will be a good start. i have tommy armour 845's and they are sick as hell. taylor made/macgregor/titleist/ta/calaway are all good ideas.
if you're a smaller guy get some graphite shafts, they make a huge difference. it's a personal taste thing though. not everyone likes graphite. any taylor made r7 set is sooo sick, and some of them offer graphite shafts if u dont want steel.
if your above like a 15 handicap i wouldnt reccommend getting blades. taylormade and callway make some good cavitybacks that are easy to hit. with blades you wont be able to hit them well as consistant. oh and there is a n NS Golf Cult, im in it, so try to get invited to that.
no, if your above like a 4 or 5, i wouldnt get em. ive met so many cocky ass kids who have blades and think they can him em only to send their balls screaming low as fuck
i have blades so i do know what im talking about. not attacking you or anything. im about a 7 handicap and shoot consistent 70's. and i love my blades.
ive been golfing for 14 years and my dad is going to give me some blades soon, but apparently by your guys standards i should not be getting them. i can hit the ball real well, can control the ball most of the time, but i shoot in the 90s constantly. right now i have teh I3's and i can hit them good. are blades really that much harder to hit, and what are the advantages to them?
yeah hes right. when i was good i got some blades, like real blades(i think they were nike, i dunno my bro let me borrow them), and suddenly i sucked. they are only good if you are supremely consistent which only happens if you are about a 5 or below.
The best for a begginer is a club like the Tylormade rac HT
but if you want more control and still some forgiveness you should look at the mizino MP-60
