The 30 hour famine is insane! I couldn't do it. I did a basketball marathon. It was so sweet. We were so tired we would get on the court and go to sleep! ahahah.

Something about raising money for starving kids. I kinda wonder what the point of starving yourself is though. It doesn't send the starving kids any food, you're only doing to raise money. Solution: Obtain all funds raised prior to the 'starving yourself' event, then you can eat all night. You don't get hungry and starving kids still get the aid they desperately need.

30 hour famine is tight. I did it last year with my youth group, and surprisingly, I wasn't hungry. I rode for about 10-15 of the hours and didnt hungry. Caution: going to a soup kitchen to work is extreme torture while doing the 30 hour famine. But it's worth it.

You collect pledges and then don't eat for 30 hours. I think like 79.9% of the money goes to aid, 11% to advertising and.... I don't remember the rest of the information. lol It's 2am, and I'm still tired from the car ride back from Whistler.... The Famine can be a lot of fun though. I've done it every year since I was old enough. This year, I'm doing it through my school, and we're having a sleep over in the gym or something.. It should be fun. I just wish more of my friends were doing it.

Not eating for 30 hours isn't that bad. It's kind of like 'out of sight, out of mind.' If you don't see food, you don't really think about it. What sucks is when people follow you around going, 'Want _____? Oh, WAIT! (sarcastic voice) I'm sooo sorry. I forgot you can't eat.' lol It's not so bad when you start, but when you're at like 24 hours it's annoying.

I'm doing it again....we always get 3 6 foot subs afterwards. It sucks though cause its so hard to eat cause your stomach's so small...heh
