One thing ive noticed since ive gotten into freestyle skiing is that most of the skiers are pretty small. I am talkin like 5-9 150pds and stuff. Now I am sure that there are bigger guys out there but it seems like the really good ones are rather small.

I am 190 right now and trying to get up to 205 since I lift weights all the time. I hope it doesnt affect my skiing ability but I couldnt help but notice that I was always won of the bigger guys in the park.

but most racers and big mountain skiers tend to be bigger. Mass is to your advantage when shredding through ice or av debris.

True, ive noticed that I can hold an edge pretty good because of my size. I would love to get really good at park but I enjoy big mountain more and being in the NW...there is always powder waiting to be shreaded.

its like gymnastics smaller you are the faster you can spin and better you can balance i think.

Yeah I am pretty athletic, just got into freestyle this season. I should be able to pick this shit up pretty quick next season. Im about 6-1 but I mean it shouldnt be that big of an issue, just an observation was that the top end guys are rather short.

its doesnt really matteer, if u can ski. but in geneeral small people havee a lower center gravity, appose to taller people, balance wise. but i dont think it matters
