they are slalom skis...i coached with an ex-world cup racer and thats what he raced on.

yeah i race GS and im 5 11, and 165-170, and looking for a good deal on some new race skis, but i need 180s, im really confused on what you are trying to say though...v

that 165's are plenty long for pretty much anyone when it comes to slalom specific.

I want a big company like Atomic or Salomon to put a limited run of a twin like the Foil or the Triplet that is built in their race room with the most bulletproof and careful constuction ever. That would be a fun park ski.

Ok those are slalom skis, but the parts have been mixed and matched. The bindings are the old gs racce binding and the catch gards are from a old super cross ski. As for their lengh, you can race a gs on a 165, i had to once when we failed to pack my gs skis, it was just alot more scary

You're a fucking retard. Atomic wins more medals on Worldcup than any other brand. They're the best brand to be on, for racing anyways.

If you plan on racing FIS, there are ski length regulations.

Women Min Men Min Radius Min

SL 155cm 165cm 11m

GS 180cm 190cm 21m

SG 200cm 210cm 33m

DH 210cm 220cm 45m

It changes year to year, and there's a -/+ 5cm I think. There are also minimal turn radius requirements. If you race Nor-Am cup theyre especially strict, and you can get fined/sanction if your risers are too high, skiis too short, and DH suit not plummed.

i have these skis for racing and they are the best ski i have ever skied on, they are stable, they grip ice so well, they make perfect turns and they are perfect for any terrain
