How many of you guys are going to watch the world cup this month just for the soccer "hooligans?" I know I will, those people are the craziest fans ever. brazil or some teams fans threw flares on the field and one hit the goalie in the head

the world cup is trying to tone down the image of soccer. They are banning all the dirty chants. They have also gotten each country to send Fifa a letter with all the fans with past reports of hooliganism and they will not be let in. I used to live in England and I was at a Fulham game once where the fans were flipping cars and shit, it was nuts. Oh ya and join the soccer cult

The US needs to win group E to stand a chance, because if we get 2nd than we play Brazil in the next round. To win group E we are probably gonna have to beat both Czech and Italy.

I definitly hope the hooligans do NOT show up, they just ruin everything. Now Passonate fans, are another story and are one of the things that makes the World Cup so much sweeter than club soccer.

My older brother went to a world cup game in 94 when it was in the States and he said that some of the fans were fucking crazy, but i'm sure they were nothing compared to what the fans will be like in Germany.
