cmc steamboat sucks. its waaay overcrowded, the ski area isnt that good, and the people in steamboat are all about the hardcore "BRAH" attitude. plus, no chicks.
CMC Leadville doesnt have the chicks, but is where you want to be for skiing. masssssive amount of backcountry and sledding, plus easy access to Summit Co, Eagle Co, and Monarch is only an hour south.
CMC Glenwood is the shit if you like to party and get chicks. the skiing is a little further away but its worth it.

CMC is a waste of time and money unless you plan on working for a ski resort in resort management. None of the credits you take at their schools will transfer to another college.

i'm going for a year to get residency and then goinng to the art institute in denver because it'll cut the costs down. and basically to fuck off and ski. how far is it from keystone/breck and all the other good places?

AI sucks too. It's over priced and way behind in in technology. Clearly you've just been reading brocures. Looks like you're on the right path to success.

I didn't realize you were retarded. I guess cmc is about your only option, but there's other crappy schools in CO that'll take anyone, Ft Loser is close to durango mountain, it's not the best, but neither are you. Wasted state is in the same boat but it's close to creted butte which is better than durango. But both of those schools suck too. Basicly in colorado there are three good general education schools, cu du and csu. But you're not getting in with d's.

the reason i'm "retarded" is because i choose not to work in school. During the winter i ski almost daily and do just enough school work to get by. It's not because i can't i just choose not to.

not true, cmc is part of the colorado 60/60 thing. If you have 60 credits they are guarrentted to transfer to any 4 year university in colorado.

your a faggot, your calling him a retard because he gets d's? not everyone wants to do great in school and become some rich old stuck up piece of shit, that sounds more "retarted" to me than skiing.

Most of the people who posted in this thread don't know what they're talking about. After 2 years, if you get the right amount of credits, you can transfer to any school in colorado, If you do GOOD, you can transfer to schools like CU or CS after just one year, For people who like to ski, and don't have the grades or money CMC is perfect. Also, its about an hour 15 min to keystone and break give or take. and for whoever said the mountain sucks, you've got to be kidding...

Everyone knows the urban dictionary doesn't count. Even so, you still used it incorrectly.

for the record, Western and Ft Lewis do not suck. They are just small, but they are both fine colleges.
CMC is really the place if you want to beat off and get some credits. Summit is just over two hours from Glenwood, just under an hour from Leadville.
And as benditto was kind enought o point out, cmc does have 60/60 status, so contrary to popular belief, credits do transfer.

what about the cmc in breck? i heard that its full of older people intead of a bunch of kids, is this true? cause i wanna go there but not if i have to be with old people all the time.

cmc breck is a mix between young and old depending on the class. Usually there are more young kids around and they are all chill. breck campus is tight but there is no dorm or housing, you have to supply that yourself, which can be hard.

Oh and I'm a C-student and got into Boulder, so it can't be that hard, but I did have a really high SAT score. I'm not sure to this day how I got in.
All times are Eastern (-5)
