Hi Im from New Zealand and I am looking for a new pair of skis and bindings. Thing is the prices over here are very expensive over $1000 easily if buying new. I was wondering what online sites have good deals and ship overseas to places like NZ and how long it would take for the skis to arrive once ordered. I am also going to e-mail some sites i have managed to find already. cheers

most people dont want to ship overseas and its hard to trust an individual person rather than an actual store especially when i save hard for the money you know. but if you are willing and give me a good deal i would consider it.

i just shiped in a new pair of skis to AUS from backcountry.com they came in good condish and also ebay is good to iv bought gloves and DVDs there

jibij.com ships outside of the US i don't know if they go to NZ though but you should look there.

getboards sucks, last time i ordered something from them, it took like half a year to get my hat that i ordered, plus it was like all fucked up when i finally recieved it. Jibij is the way to go!

Anyone got any idea if i will get taxed or anything by customs, i just dont want to be spending all this money and then end up paying a whole ton more at customs

fucking oath you will be taxed. up to 90% of the retail value. it sucks man. best bet is to get it shipped to aussie then collect it from there next time your across the ditch. kinda sucks. unless you got someone you know in ozzy who is willing to forward them on to you. then you just get them to say they are used and are being sent on to a mate or some shit. ive doen it before. works better that way. try call the customs service and find out. i have a feeling its only clothing they tax 90% on. could be different fro sports hardware.
