Can a fellow nser please explain to me why the hell all girls think they are fat when they arn't!? It pisses me off. They're always like, "Oh, I shouldn't eat this". Or, "Omg, I'm never eating again.", or they take any kind of joke, no matter how ridiculously unreal, seriously. WHY!?!??!?!

because the way society has molded the average girl is that they have to be pretty. I'm sorry to say it but without looks, people like girls less because of it. They are overly self concious because they feel they must live up to this rediculous standard or else they will not be liked. Thats how the world is, as much as it sucks.

Its because the majority of society worshipes those who are rediculously thin and unhealthy, thus putting an image in our (mine and fellow female's) head that we do not measure up to those standards and are therefore overweight. This is also because there is a percentage of males who think its funny to mistreat women and convince them that no matter what, they will never be good enough, which decreases their sense of self worth and self confidence. I could go on and on about this forever, but it comes down to the fact that most girls care too much about what everyone thinks about them rather than embracing who they are and loving themselves. Personally, I care more about what my body can do than how it looks, and have accepted, rather choosen to deny the parts of my body that I dislike.

its because all the girls who are 'hot' in todays society are stick skinny. Look at tv for example. The 'hotties' so to speak, are nothing but skin and bones. Girls are very quick to find flaws in their bodies, and i honestly think the media is to thank for that. Girls also compare themselves to other girls that might be getting more attentin to them, and think they have to look/act like that person in order to be 'cool'. It's kind of ashame, not gonna lie.

I just don't hang out with girls who are super self-concious anymore, it annoys the hell out of me. You think you're fat? Well, I'll just agree with you and move on, you can go beg for attention and sympathy from somebody else. This probably explains why I can count the number of friends I have who are girls on one hand. But then again, I would prefer having a few cool friends instead of a bunch of whiny, stereotypical girls to hang out with.

i like my body very much. but if i had to complain about something I would complain about my love handles. i think every girl has one part of her body that she's really self conscious about...but some girls are just self conscious period. and those are the ones who feel they must look their 'best' and their definition of best being what they see around them. Other thin and pretty girls, girls on tv, in cosmo etc.
but i have to say curves are making a comeback. yes curves were at one point in. try marylin munro..she was not a thin girl. nobody was back then. try the victorian era. it was a status symbol to be fat.
curves are coming back, perhaps not obesity hahaha but obesity was hardly ever in style. moreso a full figured woman.

i personally dont like really skinny girls. when you touch them you feel like your gonna break em. i like bigger girls not huge but not tiny, with no pouch, but i can live wtih that.
and girls are completlly back wards. if a guy/girl called a nother guy fat, they would proly laught about it. if a guy/girl called a girl fat she would start to cry. and fat girls that always make fun of them selfs and then when somebody else does it, is even more riduclous. or fat girls that wear really mini skirts and nasty shit all the time, that is horible because she is the one that is always saying how fat she is, and yet she wears this stuff, and eats a shit load.
so i think girls should either
A:stop complaning
B:work out, diet, and stop complaning
C: stop giving a shit.
D: if they are "fat" then they shoudl do somthing about it because its not healthy so all of the above.

If it's skinny girls saying it, usually it's attention seeking for compliments on their hot little bodies. Sometimes girls who have great figures but are a little bit more curvy feel like they have to fit into a specific mould, and so they feel fatter than they actually are. Women are pretty much a mystery to me, though. I'm a mystery to myself.
