Problem At Work

I work at an animal shelter but a big part of my job is cleaning out the cages of the animals. Now my problem is with this one orange cat named Yankee. Please Listen and PLEASE HELP.
THis cat is one of the least friendly in the place. It used to bite me and scratch me everytime I reached into his cage so I started using a towel. He found a way around this. His new way of bothering me and getting my back and causing me pain is for the fucking cat to start projectile shitting in my direction. I'm 100% serious and the cat has decent aim. And even if he misses the smell is nausiating.
Now I need a solution, a way to befriend the cat or to end this problem. Now keep in mind this is a "no kill" animal shelter so Euphaniasia is not an option. Please help

well i'm sure if you slipped it some antifreeze or something like that then you can say the death was natural. or you can projectile shit all over it to show it whos boss,show it you are the alpha and not it. you shouldn't have anymore problems with it after you projectile shit on it.

I'm a pre-vet student. I get to do a lot of medical shit with the cats/dogs and other animals but the cages do need cleaning and its my first year working there so I do a lot of that shit too

just try like patting it and shit and see if it likes its belly ribbed or something...maybe you need to take a closing shift and have a little chat with it...IE shedual a meeting with old yankee to talk to the bottom of you boot,

bring it some tuna and make it come out of its cage and over to you to get it. let it know your giving it the tuna and rub it when it comes to get the tuna. than next time when you go to rech into the cage give it a treat and rub it, than next time just give it a rub. eventually you will condition the cat to like you. cats are pretty smart. eventually it will learn that you are a friend if you keep doing tings for it. its not just gonna like you though sticking your hand into its 'bidness' and all
