Showers, Good.... OR a Hassle!? :-o???!!!!

Yet another night, I sit here in my chair. Glued to the screen of my computer looking at amazing and spectacular threads that my fellow newschool skiers have created.
Yet I relize, it is 11, I have not showered. I am tired, and I must awake from an deep sleep tomorrow morning at 7am. To catch a bus for 7:50. My point being is, when will I shower!? If I do shower at night before bed, I wake up in the morning with absolutely retarted hair. If I shower in the morning, I am extremely slow. I also have a ridiculous tiem trying to get up, I must eat, and I must make my lunch. I go through this every day all year. But to me, showering seems to much of a hassle. I know it's nice and warm and such. But damn, why doesn modern society have to be so clean!?
But to you, is showering good, or a hassle!?

If you want lower social norms of cleanthlyness, move to France. Showering is a weekly experience there, at most.

shower now, and you know when you step out of the shower and its all cold. to fix that, before you get out open the door of the shower a little bit and turn up the heat so your warm and then step out and you dont get that chilly feeling when you get out. its nice.

I shower daily once a day, sometimes im not in the mood to get in the shower and it just feels like a daily hassle, then other times i feel all dirty and buttery and oily after a long hard skatesesh and it feels sooo good to clean up.
really depends on the mood!

i dunno about you but i the summer if inm just hanging i dont shower for like 3-4 days regularly and i dont smell
it feels better and i dont have to deal with taking off my cloths warmning up the shower stepping in cleaning steeping out turning off drying and finding new cloths to wear

showering IS a hassle. i am not a fan. but i do it 1-2 times a day regardless.
and once im in the shower i dont want to get out. temperature change freaks me out.

We have a french foreign exchange student in my class and he barely ever showers because its not a daily occurence over there. So I would suggest that you have a shower at one point or another. Its a pain in the ass sometimes but you seem to have a shitty day if you dont.

I like showering man. Have you ever gone like 2 weeks without one? You feel all slimey, your skin breaks out in inconvenient locations...its just a bad story. Take the shower and be happy about it!

2 weeks while i was on a intence back country camping/canoing trip. We took swims in the river a fair amount but it really didnt seem to help.
did you know that the river is perfect for cooling beer to the perfect drinking tempature

get up at six thirty like me, and take a shower...if it slows you down take a cold shower....otherwise get a waterproof computer and internet connection and take your shower while your on the computer!...hey that's a good idea...jea!

showers are nice, but people waste so much time in them, they are all like "i dont have time for a shower" but if showering actually takes that long that you cant make time for it, it means you are wasting water. i shower in generally under a minute. all you do is get in get wet and your done. you dont need to soap every day its bad for you. instead soap every second or third day and when you shower go in, get wet. turn it off, soap up, turn it back on to rinse. and you are actually treating your skin better, as well as saving water.

You know what's a hassle? being 6' 4". Most showerheads come about to my mouth. Other than that it's cool though.

i agree, when i come home from soccer practice, although i am utterly disgusting i feel i am too tired to shower. So i sit on the computer or eat my dinner..by the time i am done it is easily 9:30 and i would rather go to sleep at this point. I always end up showering though.. just seems like a pain.

dude take 2 short showers, thats what i do. i can take one in about 2mins or so. i take one beofre bed, then one like at noon or so after i workout, i love working out for like 1.5 hours, im soaked with swat then i come in and take a shower all the way on cold, its a rush.

i love showering. But sometimes it is a hassle because you have to spend forever to dry your hair and stuff if you are giong out after a shower. I love the feeling of clean tho. I get showers 1-2 times each day just because i feel so fresh afterwards. they are worth it defintiely.

Not showering for days at a time is straight up grosse. I shower 1-3 times a day, depending on activity, but I will not leave my house in the morning without a shower, it's just too grosse.

during the summer I dont shower as much, espically if I go swimming in the pool and stuff. but usually 1-2 times a day. showering is kind of a hassle to get in and ready and stuff, but then once you're in ....it's soo nice.

the show that i use has a temperture gauge on it and has two huge shower heads. not only gets the job done a lot faster, but feels ohhh so nice. only bad thing is it uses up all the hot water

i usually shower every other day but sometimes if i did soem sort of exercise that day i will shower no matter what.. it also depends on my mood
