Wondering why everyone loves L1P

I just finished watching S6 and although a good movie, it wasn't bermans best or second best for that matter. So my question is Why does every kid have a hard on for L1P and Berman and every kid that joins this website hops on the L1P bandwagon. Poor Boyz movie last year was by far the best with TBC coming in a close second. To me S6 was just a skiing rip off of the robot food guys and it didn't impress me that much. Why can't Berman create something new, I know that he has the ability and desire, but for some reason that last two films are carbon copies of old snowboard films.

war was a simplistic PBP movie, it was pretty generic in my mind. TGR is more of a lifestlye movie, Berman has more intricate shots along with deeper design which helps make it a better movie, more appreciation for the film. I remember a lot more of S6 then i do War, in war i remember the tree stall, the hip hit, and sammy carlson asking a buffalo where he can get buffalo wings, thats bout it.
