The war on terror.

Okay here's the story (it's old but true). The United States of America is the only country ever tried by the United Nations World Court for warcrimes. Warcrimes is essentially the same as international terrorism. Please explain to me how the only nation to ever be accused and convicted of international terrorism can go on a rampage which they dub 'The War of Terror'.

War crimes are not the same as international terrorism in the slightest bit. War crimes can be anything from using Biological weaponry to equipping troops with exploding bullets (or anything deemed to cause extreme pain before death), treating prisoners improperly, and things like that. Just because someone is tried for warcrimes doesnt mean they are a terrorist.

And I don't quite remember the United States being tried for INTERNATIONAL WARCRIMES... please enlighten me to when this has occured.

National warcrimes, is breaking the Geneva Code, by more then 2 national leaders selected by the citizens of that country. However the geneva code includes usage of illegal weaponry, ethnic cleansing, and civilian slaughter. Most terrorists use illegal weaponsry for ethnic cleansing, that lead to civilian slaughter. Also the US funded terrorism in many countries, including iran, iraq, vietnam, and kuwait.

lets clarify this a bit. I'm talking of the Unites States action in nicaragua. And what i said before was in fact incorrect, and thank you for picking that up. The actual accusation was of unlawful use of force which is the same as international terrorism. Warcrimes was not correct.

Actually, you're worthless... 'unlawful use of force' is not meant to strike terror in people. The definition of terrorism is action taken in order to strike terror in people. Unlawful use of force can be a lot of things. It can mean taking over a country for economic gain, it can mean taking over a country for political gain, there is a reason why its called unlawful use of force rather than terrorism.

You're another ignorant fucktard trying to say everything the US does is bad. Lay off before you hurt yourself.

The FBI defines terrorism as 'The unlawful use of force or violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives.' I believe the quote states that terrorism is the unlawful use of force for political or social gain. What I said was right, what you said was worthless. In my own defence, I am not a butfucking whore, but I do think that most things the US does is wrong.

we tried, since 1991 we have tried for peaceful resolutions. the treaty signed then said we had the right to at any time use force to rid iraq of weapons of mass destruction. the UNH is tryin to do this also. They had said that force would be needed at some time, bush just made that time wensday night.

No no, you're all mistaken. The US government sold Saddam Hussein 'weapons of mass destruction' a while ago, so they could use them to kill Iranians(late 80s I believe). They did knowingly, and even provided satellite photos showing where Iranian troops were so that the weapons could be more effectively used. Yeah, so did other countries, but not nearly to the same level. Oh, and just in case you didn't know, the US also supported Bin Laden during the Afghan war involving the Soviet Union...gives you something to think about doesn't it???

Ok we didn't support bin laden to be a terrorist, we supplied aid to fight off the Russians. The US supplying help to Iraq to fight off Iranian Islamic fundamentalists is nothing new. Can't assassinate, it's not an option due to some kind of presidential ban on assassinations that's been around for a while. Also, it's not only Hussein, but the people working under him that also cause problems. And I'm sorry if I'm stupid, but I missed the part where the world decided that an 'unlawful use of force' was ok as long as it was done by a first world, industrialized nation like the US....Finally, I can't believe how ignorant some people are. I've been over the Iraq/Bin Laden support MILLIONS of times. Here it goes ONE LAST TIME: The weapons and expertise they have to make more weapons was in large part a gift from the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Maybe if the US government could get its head out of its ass when making decisions on who to support and how, and look at LONG TERM issues that could be brought up by their support, the US government wouldn't have the problems it has today, namely a 'war on terror'(which by the way Iraq has NOTHING to do with. NOTHING) that hasn't been very succesful so far.
