New Skis

I just got my new skis (PE's) and was wondering if there is anything i should do before riding the skis for the first time (waxing,etc)?

Umm.. ok thats kinda ovious. I was thinking more like should i wax them beforehand or sharpen the edges.

wax...maybe detune the edges a tad under the boot if you're going to slide rails immediately, but that's certainly not necessary.

for me, wax....yas but don't soak your dang ski in it, no what i'm sayin?..not a lot..sharpen...no, i'm in the park probably 90% with my pe's and with ur edges sharp its harder to grease dem rails brotha. ride on
