Anyone else read a lot of his stuff? I normally don't read too much but once I start a king book I can never put it down. Something about the way he writes just draws me in..............I just finished the tommyknockers and that was just amazing. Needful things and salems lot are great too.
christine was his first that i read and that was soooo good. i read the shining after that, which was also great. and i just read the dead zone, and i loved it. i have needful things but haven't read it yet, so from your review i'll have to.
his best books are def the dark tower series, if you haven't read one of these pick up the first one, they're fuckin tight. there's about 5 of them or so, but each one is really good. the first one's a little weird, with the coke deal, and pulling this dude into another world... anyway, that's king for ya
I couldnt really pick one, all of them are great. Salems lot was the first i read and it was a good horror/suspense story with alot of detail and well built characters. Needful things is amazing, he really builds up a good plot and has stories for many different people in the town, which are all related and such....its a big book but its probably my favorite. The tommyknockers is like needful things in the sense it goes through different characters in the town which ends up in total chaos. Its a little bit weird because it has a sci-fi aspect to it but not in a bad way. Desperation was another good book, along with its sister book the regulators. If you saw the made for tv movie, its not really like it, there wasnt as much religious stuff like abc put in the movie.
