cracked edges and warranty

How many of you have sent skis in for warranty with cracked edges? Did they send new skis? What companies have done this? I most don't like to cover damage from rails but it seems some people still get warranty.

depends on who your shop happens to get on the phone from the warranty dept. of any ski manufacturer. Some guys are cool with it, some are just total pricks about it. Be cool with your shop guy and they will probably go to bat for you. Rossignol and Line have fairly reasonable warranty depts.

doubtfull if its just cracked, mine were cracked and then that caused it to fall out, then that caused it to delam, which is warrentyable.

delaming is when there is a gap between your edge and your top sheet.
my spaceframes are delaming at the tip. Gonna get them warrentied and then sell em to get some PEs or somethin that won't delam.

ok on my line skogens i cracked my edges from grinding then it seperated. i can see the core under my boot part. Do u think they will send me new ones?

news on all last years scratchs if they are pressure cracking at the tips you get next years. as for cracked edges. your fucked. sometimes edges splice just from bending and thats warranty but any rail shit and they shove it up your ass.

what about cracked edges with the edge sticking out. THey r salomons if that matters. Also, if u send em back how long will it take to get new ones?
