Well kids, for me the season is all but over. Here's a photo tribute to an amazing season
Starting off right with some good snowfall in Breck-
And then, some more snow!
When I was the only car on highway 34 before it had been plowed-
Tearin up Breck-
-Insert Picture of Snapped Mantra Here-
Oh wait, I didn't even take a pic of my snapped Mantra, I took it straight to the shop to get waranteed, got pissed off, and then went on a solo climb-
Then there was some more skiing and my skis got waranteed, the 3 foot day at Vail! I didn't even take a picture, it was just so damn good I wouldn't let myself stop.
I'll put this picture here in it's place-it was from a few days after-
and the lunch of champions-
Hmm..then there was snowcaving on Breck, many more good days of skiing...
Gaperiffic at Breck-

ASPEN-
Pyramid Peak, which Davenport Skied-
The Maroon Bells, which Davenport also skied-
Did I mention I fucking love Highlands?
And then, a little while later, I got hurt-
Shattered Left Clavicle, displaced shoulder blade, lacerated pec, lacerated platisimus, sprained mcl (elbow)
and then I got fixed up. 6 screws and a titanium plate-
Insert picture of me super fucked up in the hospital here...I missed 2 weeks of school and a spring break trip to Jamaica.
For a long time, I wasn't allowed to or able to ski, so I spent my time working the grill for everyone and partying on beach days with some good friends-
Drunken Sumo Wrestling!
I was out for about two months, but I came back a week ago, ready to ski a coulior near A Basin, but the snow had some other plans and with all the avalanches we were forced to ski inbounds at A Basin. Either way, I was so fucking happy to be back to skiing.
Terrible pic of me on my return day. I promise, I skied hard.
Hell, I was even happy to be chilling in the parking lot with my boots on again.
All in all, a great season with a single major setback. I was on track for 50+ days, but I only ended up with 36.
Making this tribute also made me realize how few pics I have of myself actually skiing from this past season. That will change next year though- we are going to make a movie with lots of cool shit in it. Just wait.
Rest in Peace to all of the great people we lost this year- Doug Coombs, Teddy, and many others.
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST- MAY NEXT SEASON BE EVEN BETTER! MORE SNOW FOR EVERYONE!!! LESS INJURIES!!! MANY MANY MANY MANY MORE AMAZING TIMES!!!
