Computer Viruses

I've got this weird virus on my computer right now where the entire computer is regressing back to the way the hard drive originally was when we first got. I'm losing memory, it won't remember which backround I had, my homepage on the internet, or which shortcuts I have on my desktop. Any of you know how to rid oneself of such a virus?

download avast antivirus, It's free and works good. Also download AdAware.

I have norton. Norton sucks ass. Norton couldn't even detect 12 trojan viruses on my harddrive unless I did a system check. That was 3 months ago.

you will have that problem with every single anitvirus program
they cant detect every single virus thats why computers still crash...
and thats the point of doing virus scans.they detect those viruses...

norton is shitty and takes over your computer and just pisses you off. go to www.grisoft.com and download avg. It's free and just as good as norton ans doesnt take over your computer.
