Replying to I used a 140$ salade bowl in my history project

ok so i had to build a coloseum for this history project and i used this salade bowl as the frame and my mom comes to me and asks me if ive seen it lately and i ask why and she says because it costs 140$ and it belonged to her mom may she rest in piece. and shes caught on to that i may have used it in my project so im screwed. the bowl is beyong repair, so has sumthin like this ever happened to anybody and does anybody have any suggestions of how to get out of it. im thinking maybe make her a slade bowl out of the goodness of my heart.
