im going to whistler next season. and i am lookin for a powder ski. i am think of elizabeth. im only going to use it for powder skiing. alot of tree-skiing, but i also some big lines, will it be to soft for that? hope you guys can help me.
well if you're not gonna use it for park I would probably suggest something with a bit more beef. Mayve something in the Volkl line like the Sanouk with is a pure pow ski, but holy shit, this thing will get u the thrills man. hope this helps. (also look at lenght, elizabeth only come in a short lenght for the kind of skiing u're gonna do...longer is better)
i don't think there's any ski better than the elizabeth for powder in the trees and they kick ass in any mellow pitched fresh (as in untracked) snow
once it's get choppy though, they aren't beefy enough to charge, and they like to turn too much to be a stable ski in the steeps.
unless you're going to be in trees 75% of the time i'd go with something more beefcake, because i'm pretty sure a whole season at whistler will dish out more than lizzy (or sir francis for that matter) can handle.
how much do you weigh? because the suggestion kind of depends on how fat you are too.
