Brake help

i just got a new pair of rossignol fks 185 race stock bindings, cept the brakes wont fit over my ar5's. correct me if im wrongt but im pretty sure u cant get a wide brake for this particular binding.

it looks like i would be able to bend them a little so thet fit, but ive heard that this although it can be done, they can also snap.

has anyone done this? wats the best way to bend them?

Some guys in that thread say that you can do it without disassembly by clamping the ski in a vice hard and putting a boot in the binding with the DIN cranked. There was also a thread where a guy was selling a set of bent P18 brakes - search "P18". And I also saw a mention there that next year's PX18 is the old P18 design with wide brakes.
