Suggestions for my new pair of skis

i currently have a pair of line mavericks (egh) and im going to college at montana state bozeman and figured it'd be a perfect opportunity to convince the rentals to buy me a new pair because, well... im poor.
so although i do a little park... im going to be in montana, so ill probably be doing more big mountain than anything else, but id like something that ill actually be able to use if i just want to fuck around in the park for a few hours here or there. although my rentals are the ones buying them... i dont have an unlimited price range (they're poor too) so... be reasonable haha.
thanks much.

The new scratch bc, vicious, or big troubs. You might want a rock ski for the first month or so if you care about your bases.

yeah, i may keep my mavericks for the rock skiing... although theyre only 170s so im not sure if ill even be able to ski 'em any more, i broke my arm skiing in january and havent been on them since... goddamn doctors.
seems like k2 gets the nod here, but ill check out some of the other suggestions too... thanks all.

Mojo 90, Scratch BC, Gotama, etc. Depends on how big you are and how you ski, and also whether you're going to be skiing Bridger or Big Sky.

I don't know how much park you're going to be skiing, but the Scratch BCs seem to be pretty good for everything, if you're not skiing any park, get Gotamas and you'll match half the people in the bridger lift-line on powderdays.

For pipe and jumps (and especially pipe), go with dynastar belangers.

head Mojo 90s 06 07 they are the best for sure, the problem with the big troubles is that the tibs are to large and when you are skiing the powdery bumps they just push the snow so you dont actually go thruogh it, they spent to much time designing it for switch pow, and the seth vicious are good but those are huge, so unless you are skiing nothing but powder every day, you wont really be able to shred the park and have fun doing it, that and they have a lot of swing wieght, the maden ak are good but once again way to huge, if you get a massive powder ski then you wont be able to get down into the powder and get those radical faceshots, this is why i recomnend the Mojo 90s they are 90 underfoot and they even have less swing wieght than most of the park skis that i pick up these days, also the people at head have been working very hard and worked out a new formula for thier skis so they are super stiff but they give you plenty of arc and pop truly a swiss army ski.

theyre actually super soft. for his skiing, hes not going to be skiing all pow all the time. hes gonna have alot more mank and crud which soft skis would not be very ideal to ski on. im thinking he needs something stiffer, say, MSP, Mojo 90, Seth Pistol or Seth Vicious(these are softish/medium by the way, but they are a proven all mountain/big mountain ski)

Park? HA!!! They don't really have one at all, it's just there to keep the super lame kids off the good parts of the mountain. Definitely don't get a park-specific ski if you're going to be riding around Bozeman, it will be like sticking a bark-covered stick up your ass with all the good terrain we have around here. Just get a good all-mountain ski with a twin tip and you'll be set.

Yeah dude Bridger Bowl is not a park mountain. With it's kind of skiing, it shouldn't be.

probably more bridger because im poor as hell. ive heard its park is... less than ideal, but if its that bad i guess ill be looking for a big mountain ski primarily...
seth vicious seemed to have the most votes, so i went ahead and checked those out and they definitely seem to be along the lines of what im looking for. when im not so lazy and have a bit of time ill check out some of the other more popular ones.

sprayer bc or motherships, you could get them both for under 275 shipped and probably the bc even less like 225
