2004 Scratch Gets Recalled!

Yo, i was going to get the 2004 scratch FS yesterday, until the shop called my dad when i was in school, and said that rossignol recalled the 2004 scratches that where out or being sent out, because after about a week of use the colors on the top sheet faded and turned a bright yellow.
Anybody know anything about this?
I think it sucks because now i have no skis for the rest of the season, and i was really lookin forward to riding these.
o well
peace
Ben

next years scratchs are even released yet, so i doubt that any shop is technically 'selling' them. Still its not hard for some to get them.

I have had the 2004 BC's for a few weeks now, and I have had no problems. they are sick skis.

The bcs have way sweeter graphics than the fs's.

the 04 scratch is pretty sweet of course the graphics dont own up to last years model but they do have two different mounting points on the ski. I'd wait.

i dont know what your talking about by not being released. i was in tremblant this weekend and if i had a cool $600 i could of had my own pair.
and for the guy talking about moving the jig up and down, you can do that if you want to fuck the ski up real nice, thats why they label where to mount them.... retard.

ya. there's a generous spot to mount your bindings. not too generous, but decent. just move the jig to your preference.

yes i have no idea what im talking about
i only mounted like 300 pairs of skis this year but fuck i have no idea.
you see the company offers spots that they suggest to mount the ski, this is so you dont drill through the ski or hit something you dont wanna hit.
sure you can move the jig up or down in small amounts, but it is not suggested, center mounting a ski that is of by a little is no big deal, but moving the jig like 30 cm is.

if your shop is an actual freeride shop or has good connections you could easily get the 2004's.. mine are on their way

wow, 300 pairs? thats impressive. try mounting 1400 pairs with 2 other guys in 2 days. yea, someone has to mount rentals. and when i say you can move a jig i mean usally up 1 2 or 3 cm, not fuckin 30. dont be a dumbass.
