true, generally skiing is 3 years behind snowboarding, and snowboarding a year or two behind skateboarding. but nyman has been wearing tight pants for 2+ years. that footage is from last year. but now snowboarding and skateboarding are to the point where there is just a bunch of different people doing different things. find the thing you're into and blah!
skiing needs to reach the point where it has all these different "groups" and people can be into whatever they want. without complaining about who and what is or isn't progressive, just have fun. thats why we ski right?
with skiing its pretty cool i guess, like the mission six pants and stuff. baggy is just as good. but for real clothes not skiing baggy is gay as fuck.
i had tighter pants last season and i felt alright till i saw some footage of me and i looked like a fag, so i went baggy, but its up to you! try different sizes before u buy and see what you think!
well i want to know why the fuck tight pants are cool all of a sudden did everyone become a crossdresser and buy girls jeans and quit following trends its so gay now
i know that wearing tight pants isnt emo, but this whole emo trash talking thing revolves around the tight pants.
and im not scared of critism because i dont dress like that, but the people would do always complain about being made fun of , when it is their choice in the first place to dress like that
i dont get why everyone thinks that baggy is sooo great. one thing that i think i should point out is that like 80% of newschool skiers really do think they are "gangster" like when you see them off the hill so many of them wear extremely gay and baggy pants all the time. i wear really baggy stuff too. but only because it looks better when your skiing, off the hill i wear normal or tighter pants, just cause im white and i dont want to pretend to be black.
and why does everyone think tight pants are emo? yeah emo people wear tight pants. but emo didnt even exist in like the 70's and pants were tight as fuck back then, and 70's clothing is more pimp than anything. and my dad wears pants that are just as tight as "emo" pants, and he is far from emo.
i think they do look pretty cool especially with that blake guy, it looks awsome, its just unique and different than the "gangster" style everyone thinks they have to have. personally id rather look white than try to be black. mabye once im good enough i will wear tighter stuff, i dont think im smooth enough yet. as long as its long enough to cover the boots it looks pretty sick.
most people on this site don't even remember back to 92' when even rappers didn't wear big ass pants, i guess they are good for hideing guns in though and i do know how kids on NS like riding with guns.
i like all the stereotyping that is going on. funny stuff; black people are gangsters that wear baggy clothes, white people need to be yuppies with tennis sweaters, tight is either emo or gay, and people cant respect others opinions.
i personalyl t hink that tight pants look rediculous. I dont care who the skier is/or how good he is... tight pants ruin the image. To me a stylie skier has dope stunts, and bagggy clothes.
and so you know. Im talking about the tightttttt tighhtttttttt tightttttt jeans/skater pants. The pants you wore in one of ur pictures i do not consider 'nasty tight'
my ski area had a 70's gear day and you had to dress up like your in the 70's. i didn't know when it was so i was the only dude on the hill with baggy stuff on. everybody else had skinny tight fitting shit from the 70's on. it was hillarious!
ya mike, you pretty much stole that from me. the only reason i dont like tight is because i feel like i dont have enough room to move around. i could really care less what other people do. i just say ski how ever you feel comfortable
snowboarders have an easier time pulling it off, but it makes the space inbetween your skis look tremendous, and in turn your smallest movement is noticed, so it looks hesitant, even if your doing some gnar jib. plus its like,
"ummm, why wouldn't you wear snowpants, there is snow here you know, and that emo immage is kind of lame because it puts you on the same 'macho man' level as most women, its the vice versa to bad ass, plus i'm not really 100% sure about this, but its not the 80's anymore, and i don't think wearing super tight emo pants is going to get you the time of day from most memebers of the female gender, plus, its way uncomfortable on the goods."
but rediculously unecisarily baggy tripple xl clothes are just as rediculous, unless your fat and they fit you, word son word
It either has to be hella baggy or hella tight. For those pussy's who buy Sizes S, M, and L it looks terrible cause it like the medium baginess that I associate with gapers. Either wear woman's jeans or buy XXL
Word of mouf, XXL is where it's at. But it depends on your height too, a small dude can a M or L fit baggy on, but for us taller XL or XXL or even XXXL.

Yes of course my good man i agree, in my post I was refering to those avergae size dude skiers. of course it does all depend on size of the person as you stated.
