wow! that would be cool! Is it true? my friends brother who is like 22 told me that. he's rairly fulla-shit. he said they make a lot of snow and that at night it gets cold enough that it re-freezes. doesn't sound like it would be the best snow ever, but it is still skiing in the summer...

A Basin's season is supposed to extend to July 4th. They opened the East Wall recently for the rest of the season, and have put up 5 rails and a tabletop in efforts to create a terrain park. Should be some good skiing into early summer!

last year a basin closed basically when all the other resorts closed...its not going to last to july 4th this year, not enough snow

they have snow making this year so maybe next year they will be able to be open all year

a-basin will definately make it through june. they have snowmaking this year and snowpack is up 152% from last year. i doubt they could afford to stay open all year even if the snow did stay on the ground long enough, but that would be awesome.

well my friend's brother's cousin's aunt's father's uncle's sister said that a-basin was the best skiing in colorado. well, second actually only to eldora.

the basin usually tries to stay open until july 4th, although snow has been lacking the last few years causing it to close earlier. it has been said that since they are allowed to make snow now, they could stay open yr round, with the US ski team using it to practice, etc... but lately i've only heard them talking about staying open 'till 7/4.

...to stay open all year...this was their original plan, but its not going to happen this year, too many problems. They do have a lot of snow however, the east wall didnt even open last year. Anyway I think it will be open for a while this year.

main problems would be LACK OF FUCKING SNOW. and FUCKING HEAT. it get to like 60-70 up there in the summer. christ all you fucking kids think your so smart. if it were possible for a basin to stay open all year they would be.

i dont think that they could make it all the way until September when it starts to snow again, but they could make it past July 4th, because they didnt do anything from September-December but make snow every day, its crazy, by July 4th they will be open, even without snowmaking they sometimes make it to July 4th. With all of their snowmaking they will be open through July and it will be killer...

i was just there. theres lots of snow, and they are supposed to get some thins week, but i dont think they will last much of the summer, it was friggin hot the whole week i was there. holy shit sick skiing though.
